• You will need to provide a separate Word processor file for each Web page.
• We prefer Microsoft Word, though we can convert virtually all word processing file types.
• Please do not send us a draft of your text. Send us your final version. (While we expect to make minor changes here and there after the Web pages are prepared, we charge extra to format and insert brand new text. Most word processors allow you to count the approximate number of words. Web pages which contain more than 1,000 words may be subject to additional charges, especially if they require a good deal of formatting. )
• You may send graphics to us in either digitized form or hard copy photos which we will scan.

Search Engine Registration

We submit your information to Web search engines to "register" your Web site after final payment is received. In order to gain effective placement in search engines and directories, we need the following:

• Concise, short (25 words or less) description of your company, products and/or services.
  
  
  
• List of keywords and phrases which customers might use to search for your company on the Internet. For example, Sue Studios would use words and phrases such as web design, web hosting, Internet services, graphic design, etc. Don't forget to include your City and Province, as well as any recognizable trademark/copyright names.
  

10. Marketing

Once your site is built you will need to let people know it exists. We recommend that you include your web site address on all company stationery, business cards, advertisements, brochures, flyers, postcards, and any other place you can think of to put it including but not limited to: your car bumper, your storefront window, any press releases, any custom bags or boxes you use to package your products.

11. Maintenance

Marketers suggest that a successful web site will cost as much per year in maintenance as it originally cost to develop. Fresh content is necessary for repeat business. Your site may or may not require this much maintenance. A "Information" site will require less maintenance than a "Shopping Cart" web site. However, you should plan and budget for some maintenance costs. Maintenance can be charged by the hour, or on a yearly contract basis.
